While making his rounds last Wednesday, a League City policeman discovered an apartment fire in its early stages and helped rush several occupants to safety.
The Center on Aging at the University of Texas School of Nursing , in collaboration with the Harris County Area Agency on Aging and Care For Elders, will be presenting the 19th annual Selenia E. and Joseph C. Valley Conference on September 16th at the University Hilton on campus at the University of Houston. Each year the Valley Conference tackles challenging topics affecting seniors in our community, and this year is no exception.
